Make a Smilebox scrapbook

HO-Ho-Ho! Gayle and I wrapped gifts today, and just remembered I didnt get any photo's -- how silly of me-- and we had the biggest mess you ever seen. We set up a table in the living room, dumped all the bows and ribbon on the sofa (fun for dogs and cats) and then started wrapping. I always try to make a list as we wrap, so that i can double check if all the gifts I purchased early , or maybe tried to hide, has been accounted for. Wasn't too hard this year, because like most everyone I know, we cut back on the gift giving.

We went Christmas Shopping!

FaLaLaLaLa! We went Christmas shopping! So you think "why are they shopping in Canada?"
I suppose because I can say we did?!?!? We checked out several stores and Gayle found several items for his list. Can't tell you who or what - 'cause Santa is checking his list twice...

I have been trying to upload some photo's but so far haven't had any luck. And again, no luck!

The weather is chilly with about 6 inches of snow but they keep everything passable and no problems getting around. Everyone is courteous in their driving habits, which makes it easier for us to motivate around. Made a trip to a local grocery for sandwich and junk food for this weekend and sitting around watching Christmas movies on the tv.

Oh yeah, we are probably the only room in the hotel with our heater in "fan" mode instead of "heat". We are on the first floor but the rooms must be insulated really well since right now it is 20 degrees......

Each day, I have been checking out Scrapbook.com for their holiday specials. I ran across the page that shows "scrapbooker personality" on it. After much consideration, I'm still in the dark as to what kind of personality I should choose as my own...How about my readers checking this site and let me know what they think "my personality" as a scrapbooker is...


OK, this is Day 6 in Canada and I wanna go home!!!!! The day we arrived here, I awoke with a nasty stopped up head and cold - I'm coughing constantly and just feel so yucky!

This ailment is cutting into my shopping and touring time. There is a store around the hotel called "Canada Tire" - they sell lots of merchandise other than what their name implies. They featured a terrific sale on thursday and I found something for Chloe and Hunter that was on their list - YEAH - that made me feel better!
